Cookie Policy
Last updated: 6 May 2025
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places on your device when you visit. They are stored by your browser and sent back to the originating site on each visit, or to another site that recognises them.
Cookies serve several practical purposes: they keep a browsing session consistent (so pages remember you as you move between them), they let site owners understand how visitors use the site in aggregate, and they allow certain features — such as language or display choices — to be remembered between visits.
Cookies do not execute code and cannot carry viruses. They contain only text, and only the site that set a cookie can read it.
2. Cookies We Use
Essential Cookies always active
These cookies are required for the site to function. They handle session continuity and basic security. Without them, services such as the contact form cannot operate. They cannot be disabled.
Examples: session token, CSRF security token, cookie-consent record
Duration: Session (deleted on browser close) or up to 1 year for the consent record
Analytics Cookies
These cookies help us understand how visitors find and move through the site. The data is aggregated and does not identify individuals. We use it to improve the site and course materials over time.
Examples: page view counts, referral source, time on page (via Google Analytics)
Duration: Up to 2 years (Google Analytics default)
Marketing Cookies
These cookies support advertising and re-engagement activities. They record whether you have visited the site and may share that information with advertising platforms so that relevant content can be shown to you elsewhere.
Examples: Facebook Pixel, Bing Ads UET tag
Duration: Up to 90 days (platform-dependent)
Preference Cookies
These cookies remember choices you make so the site can respond accordingly on your next visit — for example, your display region or any interface preference you have set.
Examples: region selection, interface preferences
Duration: Up to 1 year
3. Your Cookie Preferences
Use the toggles above to choose which optional cookies you allow. Your choices are saved in your browser and take effect immediately. You can change them at any time by returning to this page.
4. Third-Party Services
Some cookies are placed by third-party services we use. Those services have their own privacy policies and cookie notices, which we encourage you to review.
| Service | Category | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Google Analytics | Analytics | Aggregate site usage statistics |
| Facebook Pixel | Marketing | Ad performance and re-engagement |
| Bing Ads (UET) | Marketing | Ad performance tracking |
| Google Fonts | Essential | Typography delivery |
5. Cookie Duration
Session Cookies
Deleted automatically when you close your browser. Used for short-term tasks such as maintaining a browsing session or a form submission in progress.
Persistent Cookies
Remain on your device for a set period — typically 30 days to 2 years depending on their purpose — or until you clear them manually.

Withdraw consent at any time — you can change your preferences using the toggles on this page or by clearing your browser cookies. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out before you did so.

Effect of disabling cookies — essential cookies cannot be disabled without affecting core site functionality. Disabling analytics or marketing cookies will not affect your ability to browse or enquire about courses.
